| I will ask my RE but am looking to calm my nerves here. My toddler was just diagnosed with hand, foot, and mouth disease. The first symptoms appeared on Thirsday and my embryo transfer is scheduled for Wednesday. I have shown no signs of sickness yet. Would you delay the transfer? |

Most adults are immune already. That said, I did catch it from my toddler and got really sick. HFM itself isn't bad for a pregnancy, but it can give you a high fever which should be treated to be lowered. Check with your RE, but I doubt they'd postpone unless you actually get sick before the transfer.
If I remember correctly, my symptoms followed about a week after ds started, maybe a little less. And I was pg with dd at the time, and she's fine .
