Our Expanding World and other preschools in/near Takoma Park

Hi,
Does anyone have experience (good or bad) with Our Expanding World in Takoma Park?
I would love to hear about it.
Any recommendations of preschools in the area that may have a vacancy for a 3.5 year old are also welcome.

I don't have experience with OEW but other preschools in the area include Takoma Park Child Development Center, Takoma Children's School and Kids Adventures at TPES. We are at TPCDC and happy and have friends and neighbors at the other two...they are also happy. Don't know about openings.

We used OEW briefly about 12 years sgo (4 months part time). It was not fancy , but actually it was fine. I can't imagine it would meet most DCUMers standards however.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Could you please explain which aspects might appeal less to some parents? Infrastructure? Teachers? Educational approach? Food? Something else? Thanks in advance.
