Not in DC.

DC only offers bus service to special needs.

But you can get discounts on public trans.

Not sure about anywhere else.

In MoCo, there are some special OOB bus routes for kids who are accepted magnet, immersion and other special admittance school. You can use the MoCo website to find out about bus routes/transportation.
