"north bethesda" just cracks me up. Seem like a bunch of wannabes. |
Wannabe what??? Someone from Bethesda proper? Are you kidding? I live in DC - I can call all of you suburbanites "wannabes"!!! hahaha |
Yeah, wannabe further from the city |
Ha! Not the kids I know in my neighborhood - that's for sure! |
Moms who question my method of raising MY children. They are loved, fed, nurtured, interacted with, and happy. |
Moms who use the word "Yuck" to describe someones parenting method.
Moms who think their way is the only way. Moms who say they are open minded, yet only open to what is in their mind. Moms who pick on other moms for spelling, grammatical, and typographical errors. Moms who have their heads so far up their butts, they can't see what is really going on around them. |
Actually they created the city/new zip code/ name when the new convention center opened. The county wanted the location "north bethesda", not rockville. |
However I seem to recall that the residents (and likely the realtors $$) created "north" Potomac. |
It really annoys me when husbands are referred to as babysitters. Your husband is not at home babysitting the kids while you go out to run errands. Your husband is parenting. |
That is one that gets me too. |
That is a good one! |
I was joking! Lighten up! |
Actually I live in the 20878 zip code and our mail comes to us addressed Rockville or Gaithersburg but the little "codes" printed by the post office to forward our mail when we moved actually read "north potomac" - it depends on your 4 digit extension after the actual zip. Check the post office or phone book. Both cities really exist. |
Mom's who only want to discuss what their kids are doing, when I want to hear what they're thinking and reading. I want to talk adult stuff - am I the only one? |
Yes, they do really exist now in 2008...but depending on how long one has lived here...people lived in these areas (20878 included) and they were called Rockville and Gaithersburg. |
