Yup, she did. She 100% wasn’t over that ex when she got married and had no right to get married when she was still hooked on an ex. I feel bad for derek, he’s generally a great guy and got paired with a whiney little brat.

I agree. Also though she looked dishonest about the timing of the hookup (when she claimed they were already separated and he said no, they’d been in separate bedrooms and were trying it as friends but she’s agreed she wasn’t shutting the door in their marriage when she did it) and also dishonest the conversation at dinner where she asked him not to reveal what she’d done (the “drama”). My guess is that she asked and he didn’t directly say he wouldn’t but she assumed he wouldn’t mention it.

I think Derek and Mindy would have made a better fit.

Taylor likes attention at times and could be immature but I think she would have worked on those aspects if Brandon hadn't just ran away every single time.

This is a lesson for Lifetime, they really need to get better experts at matching couples on #MAF. I was highly disappointed that ONLY one couple made it and stuck together. I used to enjoy this show because the vetting was better. No one wants to watch all drama filled shows without substance, some of us actually like the reality filled shows that are sappy, sweet and personable. When production found out that the original match for Brandon was unwilling to continue they should have made the show one less couple.

The vetting should be **HIGHLY EXTENSIVE** going forward. While, I do not like Brandon's behavior and how he treated Taylor. I do hope he wins his lawsuit against Lifetime. He went in totally trusting of the "experts" and found his trust broken and then struggled to come to terms with the reality show not really caring about his desire to find a mate that was compatible for him. He was duped in a sense. Did he handle the circumstances well? No, but Lifetime had a hand in this situation.

The point is not age, the point is maturity. Derek was ready for marriage and really mature despite Katie being slutty and immature.

Brandon clearly has issues, but Taylor acting like she's some innocent well intended lady who's always getting misconstrued is a tired gig. Brandon has big anger issues. Taylor seems like she may have NPD. Or it's a gig she's performed her entire life.

Katie is just a sh!tty person by choice.

I hope Derek and Mindy become good friends. Maybe the age difference is a bit much, but they both seem like kind, good human beings.
