I posted the question, because he's always invoking this "they" and also "we" and I always have the impression they are on some level not real--like the general saying "Sir, we checked and about 150 people would be killed". I mean, I know there are actual cronies and staff and advisors and whatnot but with Trump there is always this weird imagiary feel to it, to the point where I wonder if there really ARE imaginary friends also talking to him. He has such strange ways of expressing himself. |
And his attorney, Sale, quit because of it. |
Didn't he just retain Sale a couple days ago? Or does it just seem that way? I wondered who fired whom in that attorney client relationship. |
LOCK HIM UP. It would warm the cockles of my cold heart to see Nancy Pelosi reintroduce the power of Inherent Contempt with the arrest of Rudy Giuliani. Let him dry out in the tombs underneath the Capitol Building for a couple days and drag him out to testify without a shower. |
https://twitter.com/ShimonPro/status/1184172805761449990 "Giuliani confirmed to CNN Tuesday that his current attorney, Jon Sale, is ending his representation of the former New York City mayor shortly." |
And the Igor's cannot make bail. Funny what happens when people are watching the money trail. |
FOLLOW THE MONEY. |
Something something half of a Scaramucci something. Yada yada yada. |
I think the same day Sale was announced to be his attorney he was also quoted on CNN as saying something about how Rudy says something and goes and does another thing. |
Yep--"you always got to know who's buying the drinks in Ukraine." https://www.npr.org/2019/10/08/768373939/why-ukraine-is-at-the-center-of-the-impeachment-inquiry |
You’d quit too if your client made you sign your name to this ridiculousness. |
Breaking via WSJ: A grand jury has issued a subpoena related to Manhattan federal prosecutors' investigation into Rudy Giuliani, seeking documents from ex-Rep. Pete Sessions about his dealings with Giuliani and associates, according to people familiar. |
Pete Sessions was basically a good guy who chucked his moral compass when the Tea Party came on the scene. I would've never voted for him, but appeared to be decent. Now he risked his family and his reputation for campaign contributions. |
I did vote for him, before I moved here. I'm shocked by all this. Did he go around the bend? Was it greed? Or did he become a Tea Partier? |
