Worst dog breeds...tried it once but never again

I have a min-pin and I love him. But he's extremely high strung, hard headed and does not like to be told what to do. Sometimes I think of rehoming his ass. I would never do it of course, I'm his everything. But he really does get on my nerves sometimes.

Any dog who isn't trained is a disaster. My sister has a lab and he hasn't been trained. My brother's doodle mix is only slightly better. Our doodle mix is still a puppy but already less of a disaster than the other 2 as we are, training him...

We have 2 beagles and they are sweet and cuddly but man that prey drive is fierce. Can’t take them anywhere off leash, however, they are such good hunters. We had a gopher in our front yard and all it took was to use a hose to start filling a hole and after a couple of minutes the gopher came out and the beagles got it within seconds.

Worst thread ever.

My first dog was a hound mix and I would never have another hound. He was sweet, but never got fully housetrained which I later learned is common with hounds - their sense of smell is so keen that no matter what product you use to clean up a house soiling, they can still smell it and will use the spot again and again.

Also because they are so scent driven, it is almost impossible to get a good recall from them - they want to follow their nose if you let them off leash outside.

You couldn’t have thought it was that bad since you resurrected it.
