I hated normal people as well. Finished it and was just puzzled. Really didn’t like.

so many people go on and on about her books and how they're the best books they've ever read.
They're awful. I think they illicit emotions and that is conflated with worth. As if.

It IS painful. I didn’t mind the nightingale but it by no means good. Total meh factor. Her other books are just awful. Her writing style lacks any sort of depth. Wonder why she is so popular.

Yes! Thank you for this. I have read her books and often didn't enjoy them yet felt emotions which made me wonder why I didn't like the book.
