The Women.
Tragedy porn at it's finest. ANd horrible writing. |

Feels like Lessons in Chemistry is The Goldfinch of the 2020s. Massively overhyped disappointment.
|
Kristin Hannah in general. The Nightingale was awful. |
I hated normal people as well. Finished it and was just puzzled. Really didn’t like. |
so many people go on and on about her books and how they're the best books they've ever read. They're awful. I think they illicit emotions and that is conflated with worth. As if. |

James
I hated the ending and that he changed the time period from the original Huck Finn story. |
| Eat Pray Love |
| Anything Oprah recommended. |

Anxious People. Couldn't stand it, but finished it for some reason.
More recently, Three Days in June. Just a festival of whining, unlikeable people. |

Wicked
Lessons in Chemistry Demon Copperhead |
I was waiting for the ending to be totally cool and insightful and then it turned out to be a grownup version of: "Wherever you go, there you are!" |
I liked The Goldfinch and did not like LIC |

Midnight Library
Absolute toxic drivel from someone who doesn't understand mental illness. |
It IS painful. I didn’t mind the nightingale but it by no means good. Total meh factor. Her other books are just awful. Her writing style lacks any sort of depth. Wonder why she is so popular. |
Yes! Thank you for this. I have read her books and often didn't enjoy them yet felt emotions which made me wonder why I didn't like the book. |
