I'm looking for a cherry pie. A fresh delicious cherry pie. I don't bake so no recipes. Does anyone know where to get great pie? I live in Nova but work in DC.

Balducci's in Bethesda has been getting some really great pies this summer. They don't always have them, but if you're willing to travel, I would call ahead.

In general I am not crazy about Whole Foods baked goods, but did have a good cherry pie from there a few months ago.

Yeah, unlike the many terrible pies I've had from Whole Foods, their cherry one was decent. I only chanced it because it listed a butter crust rather than their usual vegan crust.

Trader Joe's had a decent cherry pie last year... haven't had any this year though. Maybe even Wegman's?

Dangerously delicious pies on H St. They also have a location at union station. It is all made fresh, so inventory varies at both locations. Call ahead to see if they have cherry on a given day.
