I'm meeting five girlfriends for dinner at 20th & P Saturday night, early. Where should I go at 9 or 10 pm by myself for an after dinner drink? I'm 44, married but wouldn't mind a little flirting Live music is ok also. Thanks.

Was going to say the bar at Urbana, but it looks like it's closed for renovations for another couple of weeks, so I'll say Firefly instead.

The Town and Country. Best hotel bar. I went there 25 years ago. Have found nothing downtown close. May merit a separate post.

+1 for Kramerbooks or Firefly.
Other options would be Tabard Inn or Iron Gate Inn.
Sadly, Dupont is lacking for live music. Gotta go to Adams Morgan, Columbia Heights, or downtown for that.
