| Every time I try one on, it looks boxy and unflattering. Where did you find one that looks good off the hanger? Bonus points if it's good for a size D chest! |

I have one from White House Black Market that I loooove. They don't sell it anymore, but they have this one:

The trick with jackets is to buy them a couple sizes smaller than your regular size if you're planning to wear them open. Otherwise, they look too big and boxy. I'm usually a 14, but my denim jacket is a 10. |
| I got mine at nordstrom! The brand is rubbish and it's absolutely amazing. |

I have one that I like from jcrew factory store. I can never find one that I love because I'm narrow and tall and have no boobs so every denim jacket looks boxy and short on my frame. I settled on one that I like because I needed one that time. I had to size down with their jacket.
I read somewhere that if you want to avoid the boxy loom you need to size down, sometimes 2 sizes down and to wear it snug. It's not helping me but I can never get thing to be as snug as they should on my frame. |
| I got mine from the loft. |
| I got mine from H&M in London, 12 years ago. It still looks great! |

Agree with the posters who say to size down. I have the two below and love them. I bought the Free People one first or would have just gotten the one from Express. It's much cheaper and looks almost as good. Bought it on sale with a coupon for around $ 60.00

| Forever21. Love it |

| I had one in the 80s. I thought it was a fashion rule that if you wore it the first time it was in fashion, you don't wear it the second. |
| j crew its about 10 years old and i love it. |
| gap kids...it is still a bit too boxy on me, but at least it's not HUGE. i like that it has snaps instead of buttons. and i guess the tag on the inside, where i can write my name and address, could prove useful? |
I also got mine at JCrew about ten yrs ago. Sadly, I donated it about three years ago thinking it was out of style. Now I can't bring myself to buy another. Sigh. |
