Has anyone had their 1st grade child in private school tested for TAG?

| Post in the fairfax county AAP forum. That is the best place to get info on testing. Just be prepared tonsort through the chaff to get to the good stuff. Good luck! |

Yes; there will be a testing day (usually in February) for kids in Private schools. First you need to fill out an application form for them to be eligible to take the test. THe form asks for parent and teacher input.
It is usually a Saturday... takes about 4 hours. |

| Yes December sounds about right. I had both my first graders tested from private school both passed. You really can't study for the exam |
