I went to Connecticut College and had a fantastic experience. Excellent professors, strong liberal arts program and just a stimulating place intellectually. Social life was great, although a bit isolated in New London. Beautiful campus though, near the water. I am still in touch with many if my classmates and are all doing well professionally. I would recommend visiting and seeing if it would be a good fit for your DC.

Tiny school that feels like a continuation of prep school. Very supportive of LGBTQ students.
