We're thinking about putting down carpet squares in our basement so that if there's a leak, we could just remove the damaged section. We have a dry basement, but stuff happens. I was wondering what brands people have used and whether you would recommend them.
Thanks! |

What do you think of this (Home Depot Simply Seamless):

| I LOVE Flor! |
I'm of the opposite view. Our Flor wasn't cheap, and even though they said it was for high traffic areas, it hasn't lasted. It looks like crap. I have ikea and home depot rugs that have lasted longer. |
I put Simply Seamless in a bedroom in our lower level (split foyer), and we were very happy with how it looks. You really can't see the seams, and it was easy to install. It's great because if there's a spill a square can be easily replaced. |
| We have Flor in our basement that has stood up to kids arts & crafts, a very annoying cat and occasional water leakage. I love that I can easily clean it. Wait for a sale - they have good ones but only 2-3 times a year. Just sign up on their email mailing list. |
