I have watched the disgusting arrogance of Netanyahu for weeks now destroy the very thing he is trying most to protest, his beloved county and the Jewish people. When I heard today that Netabyahu said " that the U.S. should never ever doubt or second guess him again with regard to Hamas ever again" it made me cringe. He comes across so hard, cold and callous. Not a single likable bone in his body, I really liked Peres on the other hand. Netanyahu's arrogance is on another level.
I see the protests and demonstrations happening with increased frequency worldwide (unfairly) against the Jewish people and realize that most of it is because of-his actions, his public arrogance on TV and total lack of regard for innocent civilians. When I do see him talk I never see a shred of empathy, a softness, a kind spot for those whose lives have been lost, instead i see a man with ice running through his veins and a steely determination to get his mission accomplished at ANY cost. Even Peres the more likable and sociable public figure has openly criticized him for his actions and bully like behavior also saying he has thwarted any real stab at any peace negotiations. And the tragedy here at least for Netanyahu is the disservice he is doing for his own people. Never have Jewish people been looked as unfavorably as they are right now by the entire world. They are seen as callous, cold, heartless, ruthless takers. And I blame it mostly on Netanyahu. I have many Jewish friends who I feel terrible for, they are sick over what is going on and some are also openly critical of how he is handling this situation. I worry for what the future is for Israel and for the relationship with other countries that are already quite fragile. It is very sad to watch. |
I agree. |
He's a cross between Putin and Hitler, a real menace to world security. He should be arrested, tried and harshly sentenced. |
He's Putin-esque for sure. He's setting Israel back, unforutnately. |
Has Netanyahu been lopsidedly editing the posts here on Israel? |
Netanyahu is the best thing to happen to Israel in years. You sound like a Hamas shill. |
Israeli university students are being paid to monitor social media sites in the USA and make pro-Israel comments. |
I hope that comes from a troll. I can understand that some people think Netanyahu must show no weakness (I don't), but I think it's utterly ridiculous to say that someone is a Hamas shill because they think that Netanyahu has the wrong policies for Israel and for Jews in general. Not being at one extreme does not put you at the other. |
Not a troll. Happy that Israel is standing up to Hamas, Arab hate-mongers and the US that is interfering in Israel's problems. Did Israel insist on a cease fire after we invaded Iraq and killed hundreds of thousands of their civilians? Nope. |
You are just upset that Israel is pushing back agains Hamas. Is that you, Khaled Meshaal?? |
I am disgusted as well with the tactics of Israel. Sadly he is doing great harm to Jewish people all around the world but he simply does not care. |
Considering the death toll stands at
Palestine approx 1900 Israel approx. 68 I would say this is far far more than Israel pushing back. |
Pushing back and it will take a toll on the civilians, but Israel is failing in its mission to deter Gazans. They have had it with the status quo, and they have held up to the point where Israel is forced to call up reservists and resupply weapons. |
Indeed!!!! |
This is largely because Israel invests in defensive capabilities. Hamas puts there resources for offensive (though ineffective) weapons. |
