Lunch near the Wiehle/Reston Silver Line stop?

Anonymous
Kids and I are geeking out over the new Silver Line. I'd like to ride out to the Wiehle Ave/Reston Eat stop, grab some lunch and turn for home again.

Would love recommendations of kid-friendly eats within walking distance. Alternatively, would appreciate specific bus numbers that would get us from the station to Reston Town Center. (WMATA's trip planner does not seem to have the database populated with the new schedules yet, nor does Google maps or my local transit app.) Looks like RTC is about 1.5 miles away, which is just a bit too long for a whine-free round trip on foot.

Walking distance? There's a mcdonalds, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut right there. If you can walk about a mile to Plaza America there's a number of slightly better places there. Like Noodles & Co, Starbucks. Au Bon Pain, Five Guys, Saladworks, a sushi place, Melting Pot, Zoe's Kitchen.

If you want to take a bus to Reston Town Center then there a gazillion nice places.

Mykonos Greek Restaurant is in walking distance. I don't know how good it is though.

OP again. I'd love to take a bus to Reston Town Center (small peoples' max complaint-free walking distance is about a mile), but I need specific bus numbers, please. The skeds aren't yet available on WMATA or Google Maps, so I can't simply input my origin and destination and take off.

Have you tried calling wmata customer service? They can probably tell you what you need to know.

Probably a RIB (Reston local buses) or two but with a longer route.

Thank you, 19:05. And thanks to the Mykonos suggestor. That may be our backup plan.

19:05 here - btw the routes won't be on wmata. Use the fairfax connector website (just google) since they run the buses. New schedules are there.
