Roe v Wade struck down

She came closest to flipping this seat in 2022 and the Republican who won has since been convicted of felony voter fraud and had to resign.

I’m sorry, I don’t do podcasts, but that sounds like a fascinating story.

If White women in Alabama and across the country would use even the faintest application of empathy, they’d vote far and away for Democrats. Obligatory “not all White women” - yes, I am a Democratic voting White woman (and a SAHM, too) - but it’s true. So many of these women availed themselves of safe, legal abortion and are now happy to slap other women in the face. It’s disgusting.

Considering my representative flamed out and appears to have been blackmailed, I will say that I’m very proud to have Smith and Klobuchar as my senators.

Of course it was all a lie. First three paras:

Anonymous wrote:A CAUCUS REPRESENTING most House Republican lawmakers endorsed a 15-week national abortion ban on Wednesday. The announcement came one day after former President Donald Trump indicated that he could support a 15-week abortion ban.

The Republican Study Committee (RSC), which includes nearly 80 percent of all House Republicans, released its 2025 budget proposal on Wednesday, titled “Fiscal Sanity to Save America.” Despite being billed as a budget plan, it is a highly ideological document.

“The gift of life is precious and should be protected,” the document states, adding that the “RSC celebrates the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision.” In that case, the Supreme Court overturned federal protections for abortion rights, using the 6-3 conservative supermajority that Trump helped create.

They will ban abortion nationwide from conception forward if they get into office. They will ban birth control. They do not care. The opposition to abortion is not because they care about life but because they want to oppress women.

“ House Republicans Endorse National Abortion Ban
After Trump said he could support a 15-week national abortion ban, a caucus that includes most House Republicans has endorsed the idea”

National ban? WTAF?

Not for the first time in this thread, the Dobbs decision did not “send it back to the states.” It left decisions on this issue up to “the people and their representatives” which leaves the barn door wide open for a national ban.

So scary that a minority of people can take away basic rights from the majority.

Not going well for Erin Hawley in the SC today. Some of the conservative justices seem outright hostile to a ban on the abortion pill and the larger issue of trying to overturn the FDA's scientific conclusions.

Big Pharma is going to get a big win here.

GOOD. I can't really describe how incredibly angry her presence in an interview made me this morning. I hope she and her gay fraud of a husband go back to Missouri and stay there. Vienna doesn't want them.
