Would/did you donate to Wikipedia?

I noticed Wikipedia seeking donations off and on for the last couple years. Would you consider that a worth cause to donate to? It says on the website that if everyone reading it donated $3, their fund raiser would be accomplished in one hour.

No. I used to use Wikipedia a ton but have really shied away from it the last year or two after receiving some poor information on something I was looking up. Now I prefer to use more legitimate websites.

Yes. It's far from perfect, but the amount of information it provides to the number of people it serves for its small budget is amazing. And remember, it's not just serving people in rich countries but also people in developing countries.

I do a $5/month donation. It's useful and costs a whole lot less than a set of encyclopedias (or encyclopedia software).

NP here. I also find it to be pretty unreliable. Good for getting a basic grasp of some things, but I don't trust it.
