Looking on feedback on dr kozma. I need an assessment for my child's overall development at 8 months.

My kid is 18 months old. We have seen her four times. Two of my friends kids see her regularly. I trust her and she has been very helpful. She is painted as a dragon lady but I can tell you she really cares about her job. She is from Syria I believe and I imagine that at the place and time a woman had to be tough as nails to become a doctor.

I probably contributed to the earlier thread. We had a terrible experience with her. She is a geneticist and sees everything through her genetics eyes. She tried to tell us our DS who has an ASD, later diagnosed correctly, that he had some kind of genetic syndrome. Do not see her for an developmental assessment. She missed some obvious delays with our DS because they didn't fit her genetics mindset.

New poster. Also contributed to previous threads on Dr. Kozma. She got the dx right for our child (and got it early) -- but 3 years later we're looking for someone new because we just can't take the lack of bedside manner anymore. I will always be grateful to her, but it's time for us to find a better fit.
