Love or hate it?
No, in cabinets. I do have one drawer for the kid's cups. It keeps them from climbing the counters.
Yes, LOVE not having to push the plates UP into the upper cabinet after they come out of the dishwasher!!!
New kitchen has drawers for all everyday dishes. I love it, I couldn't be happier. The drawer is right across from the dishwasher, so the dishes go straight from rack to drawer.
Yes, love the drawers for the plates and such.
no there are more important things to worry about
+1 "I love it, I couldn't be happier." LOL |
I'm tall, so putting plates on shelves is more comfortable to me than bending over to get them from drawers.
You know I never even considered this??? It's brilliant. But of course i dont have enough drawers as it is....
I just redid my kitchen. love the dishes in a drawer! Across from dishwasher so it is so easy to put away! Easy for kids to set table, easy for MIL to get them!
No. I don't get it. Why would I want to? On the shelf, I can see the whole stack and grab from the bottom or the top.
Us, too. Love it. |
We have dishes in drawers since our kitchen renovation. Such a little thing that is such a great thing. The biggest advantage for us is that there is no dead space. It is a wonderful thing.
We redid our kitchen and put in drawers for the dishes. They are next to the dishwasher so very easy to put away. I am short so upper cabinets are not as easily accessible as they are for others. And a bonus: kids can empty the dishwasher and set the table with no help, because they can reach everything, too! (Our glasses are also in a lower cabinet.)
