I was you a few months ago. I have been a star employee my entire career and suddenly with this boss I was made to feel completely incompetent every. Single. Day. It really hurt my confidence and I dreaded work everyday to the point of tears. We were in a financial position where I could quit without backup. NO regrets.

Leave if you can. I am in a similar position though only four years here and I am depressed to the point of therapy/medication. Actively looking but haven't been able to find anything yet. Previous 15 years work experience as an exemplary employee. It's soul-crushing to come to work each day.
Leaving won't happen overnight but identify your goal and take one or two small steps each day to reach it. Nothing will change unless you take action to make it change.

sometimes bosses try to force an employee to quit by making a hostile workplace. time to touch up the resume

complain to HR, unless you feel that your boss is justified in his/her attitude towards you? Otherwise, you should talk to HR to see if you can be moved elsewhere within the organization or maybe the boss is an ass to everyone - thus you'd be doing everyone a favor by going to HR.

don't let one person do this to you OP. You shouldn't be defined by your job.
