| Are Friday August 22 and Monday August 25 duty days for classroom teachers? |

| Friday August 22nd is not. I'm not sure about August 25th. I was thinking about that day as well. Since it says it's for 6th and 9th grade students I would assume only the teachers who teach those grades have to work. |

| It's really not obvious. I'm the OP -- I am an itinerant teacher and switching to new schools next year so I don't want my first contact with my new schools to be a question about duty days.. but -- I'm not sure if we are supposed to report to work that Monday or not. If we need to I have to arrange child care is all.... |

| Just got a letter from my principal welcoming everyone back and it says we work on Monday August 25th. |
