Our neighbors got a new puppy, he's adorable but apparently likes to use our lawn as a bathroom. I am finding brown patches scattered around two trees on our lawn.
Is there something safe and natural/organic that I could apply somehow that would make our lawn unattractive to the dog for this use? Thanks for any help or suggestions anyone might have. |
| Don't be passive aggressive. Talk to your neighbors and politely ask them to please keep their dog from peeing on your lawn. |
| Spread cayenne pepper, most dogs don't like the smell. |
| Not trying to be passive aggressive, just trying to handle the problem without bothering anyone. The kids take the dog out to play and my guess is that they don't know to watch for that. |
| And thanks for the pepper idea. Do you just spread it around straight from the container? |

If it's between talking to the family and dosing my lawn with cayenne pepper, I'd pick talking to the family.
You could get one of those "keep off the grass" signs too. |
