Do you thrift shop? Where do you go?

Anonymous
I'm intrigued by the idea but don't know where to go. Friends have told me that they've found very high end brands at thrift shops...Spelendid, Vince, Lauren, etc. I've heard Value Village, Goodwill in Arlington. Others?

If I told you, then you and others would find the hidden deals that I enjoy.

Value Village, Landover Hill, MD, but they have several locations. Cheap colored T's for field day. A suit jacket for DS for $5. I bought a nice jacket for work for $7. A mixed bag but sometimes something useful at a very low price.

That's nice. Maybe just not respond instead?

There are certain days that deliveries are made and if you show up at opening you can beat the ebay crew, or join them.

I like Value Village. I don't find as much at Goodwill and it's more expensive. Goodwill execs say the best ones are in Arlington.

Secondi in Dupont Circle and Redz Trading in Bethesda. There's a high-end second hand store down the street from Redz Trading but I don't know the name.

Fia's in petworth. Secondi sometimes (I sell there, so I buy).

as for the bed bug poster: I put everything I buy immediately into the dryer on high for 20 mins. kills em.

I love the goodwill in Arlington. I love the dresses and accessories. I've seen high end shoes, but they're well worn.
