Great new tea place in Georgetown!

Anonymous
DH and I love to go to high tea and we discovered a really sweet little place about a month ago. If you enjoy high tea and have a small group (the interior is VERY small), this is a great place to go! It doesn't seem to have much budget for advertising and friends I've mentioned it to don't seem to know about it, so I thought I'd post here since we've had such nice experiences so far. (We want it to stay in vusiness so we have a place to enjoy tea together!) Enjoy!

Please -- that thing you enjoy is afternoon tea. High tea is a workman's supper, usually featuring meat pies.

Except the people who think you're being pretentious by adding the word "high" because it sounds hoitier-toitier, like you could be enjoying it with the royals or something.

And I like meat pies fwiw. Nonetheless, the distinction is not without difference.

You mean I have to choose between Earl Grey and meat pies?

This thread is hilarious. Don't take my spot on the blanket or I won't share any of my plastic meat pie.
