The first 2 offset each other. 25k to first time homebuyers will increase competition and make the 3 million new homes obsolete. We’ll be back to a 2020 seller’s market or worse with those measures.

Zero economic instincts with Kamala but what can we expect from the woman who gave a billion dollars to fight climate change to Central American govts because she thought that was the reason for migration and the woman who fought for the Inflation reduction bill that didn’t work and failed?

Is a house “obsolete” if someone gets to live in it? Your post only gets more nonsensical from there.

Some of you think you sound soooo smart and know so much about economics but it’s 100% Dunning Kruger at work.🤣😂

You don’t get it.
The actual physical structure of a house is not obsolete. The construction of new homes with the intent to fix low supply and high demand is what’s obsolete. 25,000 to first time homeowners will increase demand making the 3m new homes obsolete. Everyone will be scrambling to purchase and buyers will start overbidding to compete. The market won’t get affordable for homebuyers if more homebuyers are in the market.

No, I absolutely understand what you are trying to say and you are exaggerating at best. The 25k is only available to a limited pool of people, first time homebuyers- that is 1 million out of 300 million people in the US. Plenty of jurisdictions have similar incentives. The city of college park, MD offers 15k to employees who are first time homebuyers to buy in the city. College park is still cheap for its location. I’m sure there are other limitations like income and it might not be “free money,” but rather an interest free loan. In most markets, this is… not a lot of money. It may only serve to make a first time buyer slightly more competitive. That leaves the 3 million units being built on top of regular building. So no, they are not “obsolete.”

It was started by Kennedy:

“American President John F. Kennedy signed the Community Mental Health Centers Act in 1963 as a means of facilitating the transitioning of patients from inpatient psychiatric hospitals out into communities.11 As a result of all of these factors, deinstitutionalization began. Huge numbers of state hospitals were closed all across the United States.7–12 The number of psychiatric inpatients declined precipitously from a high of more than 550,000 in 1950 to 30,000 by the 1990s.”

That’s the brain worm speaking.

Brain worms is irrelevant. Many of his Kennedy family members don’t support him. 4 of his siblings denounce him.

Home prices shoot up $25,000 over night. Economists baffled.

Republican-to-human translation: Republicans have tried nothing and we're all out of ideas; so we'll take a dump on anything anyone else suggests.

That’s really presumptuous. RFK Jr.’s dad and uncle would be horrified to see how he turned out.

Too bad Uncle Ted didn't take him for a little drive back in the day.

Daily reminder that nothing will improve if Kamala Harris is elected president. In fact, things will get worse due to her general incompetence, and on top of it, we'll all have to spend years listening to her moronic statements. Vote with your brain. Not for the "vibes."

So much MAGA projection.

I am, hon. I'm voting with my brain, which tells me that a second Trump presidency will be worse than the first, and that is more than enough. I am not gambling with my or my daughter's health and well being.

That is hilarious. Was it yesterday that he was offering Harris his support if he could get himself a cushy job in her administration?

MAGA couldn't pick Kamala out of a lineup a month ago, and now she's the most liberal liberal who ever liberaled.

I am voting with my brain. My brain says that a 78 year old man who is already showing signs of age-related mental and physical decline has no business being in the White as anything other than a guest visitor. The President is one of the most taxing jobs in the world and it typically ages those who sit in the Oval Office by 10-15 years. Biden was healthier at age 77 both mentally and physically in 2020 than Trump is now and look what 3.5 years in the Oval Office has done to him. Trump will not be able to handle the White House for four years.

He would last, at most, to the mid-terms. And I do not want a political novice like JD Vance to advance to the White House.
