Britax Marathon on USAir??

Anonymous
I will be flying with my 14 month old son on USAirways. Anyone have experience on whether a Britax Marathon car seat will fit? We'll have the entire row of three seats, though I know he'll have to be in the window seat. Any tips? TIA!

Unless it's a little puddle-jumper (and maybe even then), the Marathon will fit. Good luck!

I just did it last week on a US Airway puddle jumper. No issue. I also used the go go baby in and out of the airport. What a lifesaver!! Good luck!

If a car seat indicates it's FAA approved, doesn't it fit in any airplane seat?

I flew all over the country with my DD and her Marathon - never had an issue - tons of different airlines. You'll be fine.

Only thing I recommend is to bring two 'straps' like you use on a duffle bag and strap them to the car seat so you are not physically lugging it around. If you have a strap you can carry it like a backpack if need be.
