Another traffic post - Can you beat Cape May traffic is you leave later on Saturday?

I know the recommendation is to leave at 6 a.m. on saturday - but what if we leave at, say, 2 p.m.? What are we looking at then? (assuming driving around; no ferry.)

Thank you for posting, I'm just up the coast. 6 hour commute this year - it SUCKED!

In the past when we've left after lunch, we've hit no traffic. The only traffic I would generally anticipate on this route is on 9 or the Parkway and if you leave at 2, you won't be there until 5, and there won't be any traffic.

I would expect more traffic leaving at 6am.
