With all the horrible news, the persecution of Christians in Iraq is not getting a lot of attention. I really feel for these poor people being forced from their homes, their belongings being taken from them, and having to flee just because of their faith. Really sad.

Yup. Another reason we never should have broken Iraq. |
the british should've never put iraq together in the first place. Why not blame the source which was the europeans post ww1 after the ottoman empire fell? White people can't help but meddle - it is in their genes. |
Saddam left them alone, did we not know that? |

Yes, but I'm not British. I can only hold my own politicians accountable. |
Hmm do u know that Arabs are Caucasian? Puts a strange twist on your comment... |

Arabs are also Semites |
Terrorist muslims are killing and persecuting christians and people blame the US? Why not place the blame sqaurely where it belongs on the back of the people causing the terror? |
Isis is the direct result of disenfranchising Sunnis in Iraq. We did that. |
While I'm sorry that anyone is being persecuted, anywhere, this is not going to be my focus of the problems in the Middle East. |
Show me a time in history when people were not persecuting others for seemingly stupid reasons. Human nature...same ol' same ol'. |
+1 We did a seriously stupid thing. |
Well, the turks probably shouldn't have created that ottoman empire in the first place, or done the whole Armenian Genocide thing. Slaughtering a bunch of Kurds probably wasn't a good idea either. |
