BCBA Supervision Hours

Anonymous
Hello all,

I'm the mom of a 3 year old with Special Needs, and am also in process of getting my BCBA. I'll be moving to DC in August and will be looking for a position in which I can receive my required 1,500 supervision hours. Ideally this would be a paid position, and one that would involve a strong training/education component. Not sure if anybody knows of such an opportunity or some ideas of where to look for one, but if so, please let me know.

Thanks,
R

Are you looking for a position with an ABA company? I know that CARD (Center for Autism and Related Disorders) Alexandria office is hiring - might want to try them?

The DCPS autism team (central office coaches) assigns a coach to each autism classroom and some of them are able to provide supervision. You could work as a paraprofessional in an autism classroom?
