Other than pizza or really gross Chinese (our experience). TIA!
We just moved to the area and have tried a handful of places, all of which were cruddy except 1 - City Lights of China. We have ordered from there twice now and liked it.
I always had good luck with Satay Club on Wisconsin Ave. Delicious basil chicken and tom yum soup.
We order from Mei Wah, Sala Thai, Pete's Apizza, and Potomac Pizza. The last 2 have other things than pizza. When we lived in NW we ordered Yosaku a lot.
Masala Art
We love Tanad Thai. We used to order from Satay Club but concluded Tanad Thai was better
Citylights isn't on Bethesda Avenue anymore - does anyone know where it moved? |
It reopened on Bethesda Ave, but the other side of Arlington. It's in the stretch of buildings across from Euro Motorcars. |
Masala Art (but slow - at least an hour); Petes Apizza. I like Satay Club or sometimes MeiWah. That's about it.
Another vote for Sala Thai.
PP here on Masala Art-- yes, it is really slow. Last Friday, I ordered at 5pm and it still took exactly an hour. We get take out from here a lot, but only delivery if I am home alone with the kids and I'm not piling everyone in the car to pick up.
Another vote for Satay Club. We do Cafe of India which is generally about 45 minutes. Crisp and Juicy is good too.
Spices for upper NW
Also, Pho 14 in Van Ness - more for the winter when nothing beats a delicious bowl of Pho.
My neighbor told me California Tortilla delivers. Not my favorite place, but I was happy to know there was another option!
