I'm Korean and a staple for the summer months in my family is nangmyeon. What restaurant has the best nangmyeon?
I'm not sure where in MD you can get it, but if it's a staple, it's fairly easy to make. I usually have a batch of the broth, boil some eggs, slice some cucumber & then boil the noodles - it's quick & easy.
No idea but I'd also like to know because DH has been craving it lately and so far all the places we've tried in Annandale have been disappointments. I suppose we could try making it at home but for some reason it seems to be only a "restaurant" food to him... his mom is a prolific and highly skilled cook but I've never seen her make it. And if his mom doesn't make it then lord knows I'm not going to try.
Moa Restaurant in Rockville has both the cold version and the spicy version. Also, Woomi Garden in Wheaton. Yum!
Have you tried Lotte or HMart? The food courts usually offer it.
