Body art quality natural henna is very permanent, not 3 weeks but for good and you won't be able to get rid of it. Trust me, I only use henna. My natural hair is mousy brown and I use henna with indigo to get a very dark almost black cherry brown.

there are different tones, and you can for instance add indigo for darker/black, so no, there isn't only one color.
