Can you help me identify great FCPS pyramids where we can get an afforable SFH?

We have a baby and are outgrowing our townhouse. Is it possible to afford a 4 bedroom house inside the beltway in FFX county for less than $700k with a good school pyramid? Any specific pyramids and neighborhoods that you would recommend? I know very little about schools, and would love some advice or somewhere to start our search. We are in Falls Church (not FCC) now and would like to stay relatively close by. I've heard good things about Sleepy Hollow and Lake Barcroft but I don't know anything about the schools or if there are other neighborhoods we ahould consider. Thank you!

Wrong. TJ, Langley, McLean and Marshall are all inside the Beltway.

Tj doesn't count--you can't buy in bounds for th.

Langley and McLean are out of budget.

Really OP you have about 10-12 high school pyramids that are comparable in terms of achievement, with small differences, plus TJ & Langley, so you options for a great pyramid in fcps is very broad.

Don't shortchange your house hunting options by limiting yourself to one or two high schools.

You think 700K is affordable? Jesus

Sorry, but Langley is not in the same league with TJ.

I know that.

But they are consistently higher than other fcps schools.

I am not a Langley pyramid parent. I am a parent from one of those other ten or so excellent pyramids. I ma not afraid to give props where props are due, and Langley is consistently above the rest of us

I would look at Marshall pyramids. The most affordable area is pimmit hills but the silver line redevelopment is really pushing up prices.

Op here. Can you suggest some of those 10 or so pyramids that we should consider. Totally new to this and no idea where to start.

And under 700k is what we can afford. I'd love to be able to afford 1.5m but such is life.

Marshall is the closest in, then Madison or Woodson.

Marshall, Madison, Oakton, Lake Braddock, West Springfield, McLean, Robinson...I know I am missing one or two.

South County is up and coming but far out.
