Do you have a signature dish?

My Grandmother used to make BBQ beef when we visited her. I always associated that dish with her. My aunt makes wonderful Christmas cookies.

What's your specialty?

Carry out. (ok, not very helpful)

My son would say brownies. My husband and I are liking home made ice cream right now (with the extra brownies).

I don't have one but I really wish I did. My nana's spaghetti sauce was amazing and wow, what I would do for a plate of pasta with her sauce.

You have any idli or masala dosa with that? If so I am coming over now. Start cooking and I will follow my nose.

Baked ziti. Sadly, I can not make garlic bread (which both seems like it should be so easy and would go so well with the ziti).

Just take a piece of french bread or baguette, toast lightly, then lightly "grate" a clove of raw garlic against it (just one or two swipes, not too much). I learned this from ATK, seems strange since it is not drowning in butter or salt, but it comes out wonderfully each time. Makes a great base for bruchetta, etc as well.
