sushi jin in silver spring

I recently went to Sushi Damo in Bethesda and was very underwhelmed. Everything was very average, just ok. I eat only cooked sushi, so I go for the eel, the softshell crab, etc.

My husband and I used to eat out a lot more and tried many sushi restaurants in the area, and none compared or even got close to the best places in LAs Vegas that we frequented while we were there for work trips. There are places in Vegas that serve sushi I have not even seen here. Exquisite stuff.

So far, our most recent discovery is Sushi Jin in silver spring and it is, so far, the ONLY place that comes close to the best that we have tasted. The quality is high and its just delicious. A real treat.

There is another location in Virginia, but I cannot vouch for that one. Same owners....

Every other place we have been told has the best sushi in DC we have tried and have always been underwhelmed.

Try Sushi Jin in Silver Spring or chime in if you have tried it, and tell me what you think!

I should add that the best rolls are of course around $13-$15 but I'd rather pay that than pay less for something that isnt all that great. I can only put down about two rolls anyway..

We love sushi Jin, second only to raku which is harder now with kids. Their gyoza and seaweed salad are superb and we love the dragon roll. Rarely disappoints in freshness or taste
