| Not the quilted ones necessarily, more the waxed or traditional style |
| Love. Very preppy. |

I love my trad Bedale jacket, and wax it myself. Waxed Barbours have a distinctive smell that's not for everyone, however. They come into their own in vile weather and unlike more modern, "technical" sportswear, have a certain panache that I like. |
| I like them on other people but they're just too boxy for me. |
| I own two. I like them, although I wish Barbour wouldn't put their name, subtly yet unmissably, right on the jacket front. I don't like designer names on my stuff as a general rule. |
|
I bought two of them from Sierra Trading Post, and they are somewhat practical: waterproof but no hood, and the wrong shape for my body.
I wouldn't pay full price for one unless you knew it fit you well. |
| Love mine, which is wool lined and seemed to be the right weight to wear from fall till spring. It does have a hood so is good in rain and snow. |
This is the only jacket that shows off my curves. I love the cut. I bought the olive color, so perfect for fall. |
| My DH lives his. It's nice but not really my style. |
| Classic, preppy, not flashy |
| I got min at 18 before I went to college and I am still wearing it at 39. Sent it back once to repair a hole. |
Link please? |
I got the Eddie Bauer version of the waxed field jacket because I thought it had a more flattering cut: Eddie Bauer Kettle Mountain Stormshed Jacket. I originally bought it for its intended use-- I do retriever field training with my dog. But I like it so much that I've ended up wearing it all over the place! |
