Should we blame it on the Obamas? |
Actually, yes. I read something about the JCREW site being overloaded because of the girls' cute inauguration outfits from JCREW. They also seem to be having a lot of sales. |
I tried to buy some J. Crew things during the pre-Christmas sale. I don't know what I was thinking. Even when I could get on the site, nothing was left. The place was picked over.
I've been on since and it's not a happy experience. |
so funny-- just tried to buy a coat on the sale site and it took me 5 times. Not sure it was worth it after all! |
Love the error message that says "even the best sites aren't perfect." Ha! |
It has been terrible since they switched to the new format (which I hate.) I sent a complaint in to their customer service because I have gone on several times and it has just down while trying to place an order. Their response was Free Shipping on my next order. I did not expect anything at all I would just really like for them to truly improve their site. |
this has been going on for months. after a few screw ups i am never shopping there again. |
J. Crew says it's because of increased traffic from people hoping to buy the Obama girls' coats and perhaps Barack's white bow tie, all of which were custom made for the inauguration by J. Crew. So the funny part is that people hoping to buy those things on the website won't find them.
http://www.chicagotribune.com/features/lifestyle/chi-0129-obama-j-crewjan29,0,4240499.story J. Crew has decided to make the coats and other things the Obamas wore available this fall. Their stock went up nearly 11 percent the day after the inauguration, once J. Crew took credit for the girls' coats! |
Oh geez! I think J Crew clothes are boring. I don't even remember what the girls were wearing that day. Why are people such followers???? |
You didn't think Malia's coat was adorable? Wow, you're hard to impress! |
It was a coat. How adorable can it be? |
Words I never thought I'd read in the fashion forum. |
