Good place for a weekend trip with 8 mo. old in spring/summer?

We are looking for a nice weekend getaway within driving distance from DC for myself, DH, and DD, who will be around 8 mos. old. Someplace where we can stay someplace nice, eat good food, and go on scenic walks, also with an indoor pool. We need to bring DD so nothing too fancy/upscale. Needs to be child-friendly! Preferably near a BEACH or some WATER!!
