mute & handicap parking

Anonymous
The person parking next to me at the grocery store was occupying a handicap parking space. I wanted to ask how someone who's young & able like him gets access to a handicap tag but he gestured that he can't talk. I thought handicap spaces are for people with physical disabilities so I was a bit surprised and feeling guilty but then now I can't find any information about this online. *sigh*

Wise up and MYOB. If he can't talk, he could have any number of other things. Probably had a stroke or head trauma and isn't "able" like you think he is.

Myob. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Just MYOB.

I am young and mostly look able yet I have a handicap. I only use the handicapped parking/seating on buses when my medical issue is flaring. You'd basically have to be a physical therapist to notice, because I subconsciously walk to hide it.

OP, maybe he gestured he can't talk because he happens to have laryngitis right now. But really, what his handicap is, is none of your business. I am not required by law to disclose my handicap to random strangers who want to know.

I'm sure he was faking not being able to talk.

Generally, disability permits are for physical/mobility limitations only.

Hey dumbass, for all you know he's a vet that took a bullet in the head in Iraq. There are thousands of head injured vets out there. I wouldn't go calling someone you don't know a fake.

Wow OP, why the hell would you ever ask anyone that question? You can be curious all you want, but why would you actually speak up?! I would have been so embarrassed if I would have been with you. I hope you teach your children better manners and to be more sensitive to other people's situations. I pray you are a troll.

Not all disabilities are clearly visible, but I agree with PP, this guy was probably messing with you.

Unfortunately, there are people who abuse handicap parking.

Who says he wasn't mute along with a physical disability? Leave people the hell alone and worry about yourself

OMG you actually called someone out in a parking lot?!?! And then that person made it clear he is disabled but now you are actually asking about it like you did something normal!??!?!

My wife encourages me to get a parking pass for it but I don't because cunts like you are too busy judging people who don't "look" disabled. Focus on digging out that big fat bug up your ass and mind your own fucking business. Are you the whore on the other thread who sucked 36 dicks in one night?

Okay I was with you for the first paragraph but you really went downhill on the second one there and completely lost your shit. Now that can't be good for your heart. Simmer down there, tiger. People are assholes sometimes.

Did the heart defect cause the anger management issues, or are you just a garden variety misogynist?

To qualify for disabled parking one's walking ability must be severely limited. So much so that they cannot walk 200 feet. I don't think those claiming to have invisible disabilities realize how restrictive a requirement severely limited is.

The average walking speed of a human is 3 miles per hour or 264 feet per minute. If you have a normal gait with no visible signs of impairment you can walk 200 feet in 45 seconds. So anyone claiming they have an invisible illness where there are no visible signs of impaired walking are saying they cannot walk 45 seconds.
