| Hi, we just moved to Friendship Heights for the summer. Can anyone please recommend summer classes/activities for a 5 yr old? Swimming, sports, arts, music, etc. thank you! |
|
I would check out the local libraries and see what programs they are offering.
There isalso Circle Yoga that usually has some programs. |

I'm a teacher at the American Embassy of Dance. We just started a children's "Introduction to Popping Class for Kids". It is listed at 6-9 but we already have taken a 5 year old for this class. It starts on 7/12 from 10:00 to 11:00.
We are in your neighborhood as well. https://www.facebook.com/events/343013489157127/ |
| Try the Montgomery County Department of Recs. |

Yes, Circle Yoga has the Budding Yogis Summer Camp. They have half-day camp for kids ages 4-7 and full-day camp for older kids, ages 6-12. My daughter loves it and we'll be going again this summer. It's fun, creative, and low-key, yet a perfect outlet for energy. Check it out at http://circleyoga.com/budding-yogis/summer-camp/.
