Morgan state advice

Dd is attending in the fall.
A few questions

- is the city of Baltimore bike able?
-is it easy to get to places like Target (or other "everything" store)?
-if you have been there how is the form situation? The online pictures don't provide much.

If you are in reasonable travel distance, it would be in your best interest to visit. There is plenty of information online about the school and Baltimore. If you still can't find what you're looking for then contact the university.

Op here. We have gone to the school and are going later this month for an orientation. Just wondering about the dorms.

Definitely life in dorms not off campus unless you have enugh money to live downtown near the Univ of MD and Univ of Baltimore campuses, up near JHU, or over the county line near Towson Univ.

It is a bikeable city, but doesn't have as strong a commuter cycling culture as DC.

Taking the bus to Target or Walmart will be horrible. Plan to stock him up when you visit. My second cousin goes to Morgan. My daughter to another Baltimore university. I drive them to a plaza off York Rd once a month. There is a Target, Walmart, Ross, and other shops there.

What is so bad about busing to target? Dd takes public transport in DC, is it much different?
