| How much bleeding is normal after a mock transfer? I've had two before and several IUIs but am bleeding moderately (more than spotting, less than a full period) with black, tar-like blood and cramping. Is this worth a call to the emergency line or NBD? |
|
I just had a mock last week. I am on birth control pills for my IVF cycle, if that makes any difference.
I did not have any bleeding/cramping. It was just the saline which came out, and the nurse did not tell me to expect anything else. I would call to make sure. |
| The tar-like bleeding would be enough for me to call the emergency line. (I had zero bleeding.) |
| Thanks to both of you. I called, and they brushed me off (not thrilled with the responsiveness). I'll go back in on Monday if it hasn't slowed down. |
| I had bleeding and pain for several days. They said it was normal but I'm convinced they scratched me up. Got pg that IVF cycle though. |
| maybe it was an endometrial tickle?? |
|
I would not call it a tickle but I did do a biopsy to give implantation a better chance:

| I had bad bleeding after one of my IUI cycles. When I asked the doctor he told there was no need to worry as he had to dilate the cervix a little bit for the catheter to go in. |
| I was on my period when they did my mock transfer…I keep bleeding and I cant tell if its my period or caused by the mock transfer. Im kinda worried but I have no pain and im bleeding less than my period but more than spotting. My period should have been done by now but I continue to bleed. |
