In and around Killarney, Ireland!

We're going in August for 1 week, and we'll have a car. Would love any and all recommendations on places to go, restaurants, travel tips, etc.!

Will be travelling with a 3 and 5 year old.

Ring of Kerry, Dingle, Kenmare, Killarney National Park, Gap of Dunloe, local beaches (Rossbeigh, Inch, etc.) if the weather is nice. There is a nice playground as you drive out of Killarney towards Killorglin, almost across the road from the cathedral.

Eating out is very expensive, Foleys in Killarney is good, but expensive and not kid-friendly, Robertinos should be kid-friendly--Italian pasta and pizza. Lots of burger joints and take out places but nothing very good. There are a couple of good ice cream places in the center of Killarney.Bring a portable high chair if you use one--they can be in short supply.

The nice, luxury hotels in Killarney have nice spas that you can use as a day guest if you are into that sort of thing.
