| What is your favorite? I am fair skinned. |
So am I. I think they all look fake. It's OK to be pasty.

| Clarins is really good. Buy the face one not the dark tinted bronzer one |
|
I love Lancome's Flash Bronzer line. They have a gel for the face that works well for me, but then again, I'm fairly dark-complected.
Why don't you try one of the gradual self-tanners? They're for daily use and it would give you just a hint of color that you could build up to the level you like. I think Dove makes one. |
| PP here. One interesting thing about self-tanners that I learned when I worked in cosmetics many years ago. Self tanners for the face are stronger than self tanners for the body. Self tanner works best on thicker skin (that's why elbows and knees end up darker than the rest of your body) and since the skin on your face is thinner and better exfoliated than on the rest of your body, it needs to be stronger to get the job done. |

Bump, anyone else?
Jergens has a gradual one I might try. |
| I use Oil of Olay and it also has SPF in it so it doubles as sunscreen. It's nothing dramatic but builds some color over time. |
| I 2nd the nomination of Clarins - it does not mess up my complexion, the color is realistic, not orange, and as a fair-skinned brunette, it's very "believeable" |
| I use Clarins after tan lotion with a self tanner in it. I have tried the other Clarins products and this is by far the best and more economical than the clarins specifically for the face, which I thought was less natural. |
