We offered list price or maybe 500 bucks less. This was back in the late 90's. We liked the house, it was priced according to comps and it looked as though the owners had taken good care of it so we felt like we were making a good choice. No regrets.

Ugh, am I the only one? May, 2013 paid 8% over list price of $650K.
