Travel Agents Advertising

Just curious....are travel agents permitted to 'advertise' who they are? If so, it's only fair to have more than one to comparison shop.

What that poster is doing is sort of a gray area. Any poster that logs in can have a "signature". On the DCUM mailing list, we always allowed signatures -- indeed, thanks to businesses that impose signatures, they are frequently longer than the message being posted. This hasn't been an issue on the website because so few people log in. When it has happened, I've sort of played it by ear. If the poster appears to be actively participating in ongoing discussions, I will generally not have a problem with it. If, on the other hand, a poster simply does a search for a certain topic and then posts to every single one regardless of how long it has been dormant, I will probably intervene. The poster in question appears to be well-behaved. So, I'm inclined toward tolerance.
