| Any good Cuban food in this area? All suggestions welcome. |
| Don't know abt here but if you're ever in Richmond, try Kuba Kuba in the Fan n-hood. SO GOOD. |
| There's a place up in Rockville on Hungerford Drive that's supposed to be pretty good but I haven't tried it. |

cuban corner (rockville)
cuba de ayer (burtonsville) Cuba Libre (DC) I have not been to Cuba Libre. |
Love Cuba de Ayer! Yummmm! Now I am hungry. Darn you! |
|
Cubanos in Silver Spring too...there is another place in Silver Spring but the name escapes me.
Cuba Libre is awesome but I don't know how authentic it is. But seriously one of the most fun restaurants I have ever been to. |
| Definite Cuba de Ayer over Cubanos. |

+1 And FWIW I wasn't impressed with Cuba Libre. |

La limena in Rockville is excellent. Mostly Peruvian food, but they have some Cuban dishes, too. Menu link:

| Yes for Cuba de Ayer. Also, Cubano's in Silver Spring is quite good. |
Okay... that's it... I have to go to La Limena, this restaurant is haunting me, via blogs, Facebook, reviews by Washingtonian. |
Cuba de Ayer just took over the store front next to it, so you can actually watch World Cup and sip on their Mojito. |
Five of us tried Cuba Libre at lunch more than a year ago and none of us have been back. Very meh. |
