Don't know abt here but if you're ever in Richmond, try Kuba Kuba in the Fan n-hood. SO GOOD.

There's a place up in Rockville on Hungerford Drive that's supposed to be pretty good but I haven't tried it.

Cubanos in Silver Spring too...there is another place in Silver Spring but the name escapes me.

Cuba Libre is awesome but I don't know how authentic it is. But seriously one of the most fun restaurants I have ever been to.

La limena in Rockville is excellent. Mostly Peruvian food, but they have some Cuban dishes, too. Menu link:

Yes for Cuba de Ayer. Also, Cubano's in Silver Spring is quite good.

Okay... that's it... I have to go to La Limena, this restaurant is haunting me, via blogs, Facebook, reviews by Washingtonian.

Cuba de Ayer just took over the store front next to it, so you can actually watch World Cup and sip on their Mojito.

Five of us tried Cuba Libre at lunch more than a year ago and none of us have been back. Very meh.
