Anyone feel fat and thin in the same day?

Am I weird?

There are some days I wake up and look in the mirror and feel great, then later I'm next to someone smaller than me and I feel huge, then I glimpse myself in a mirror and think I look great and then glimpse myself two hours later and feel like I'm fat. I'm about 10-15lbd overweight but I exercise a lot so I feel I'm more compact than if I didn't at all.

I know this post is all over the place. But just curious if this is normal or not.

I read about this. Normal. A lot of it is bloat. Ginger is supposed to help.

Sounds like you're putting a lot of thought into this, like it's occupying a lot of brain space.

I don't really think about the size of my body unless I'm getting dressed or actually standing on the scale. The rest of the time I'm thinking about other stuff. I'm pretty happy with my body for the most part, though I sometimes wish I had someone else's (bigger) boobs when I'm trying on shirts, or I try on jeans and think it would be a bit easier with less muscular thighs. But still, those are very specific times.

Yup. Like me, you don't have a stable body image. You derive your sense of self from your surroundings. It's depressing.

Some of us just like to think of ourselves as women and don't try to describe our bodies all the time. You dot sound healthy mentally.

Op here. In other aspects of my life, I am mentally healthy. I've always been happy, never depressed, stable, no addictions. It's this damn body image.

NP here. OP i get what you're saying. I can glimpse myself in a mirror or have DH comment that I REALLY need new clithes bc he can pants me in all my shorts and I'll feel great. But just as frequently I still think of myself as the chunky girl. It just takes a while to lose that part of the identity maybe...
