Persian/Oriental rugs

We are looking for some new Persian/Oriental rugs. I know of Persiano Gallery in the Kentlands, but would like to see some other places as well. The sale prices they quote me seem like the normal prices for new Persian rugs elsewhere. However, that is with internet research. While I would love to go and travel to find some, that is going to be no sooner then 10 years from now. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

http://mymanoukianbrothers.com/ Try this place, they have cleaned and repaired my Oriental rugs. But I have not bought new from them. There is a good Ethiopian Restaurant across the street if you want to go at a mealtime.

Mark Keshishian and sons in Chevy Chase have been in business for 3 or 4 generations now. Large inventory of rugs for sale and they are the go-to firm in the area for museum-quality repair and restoration work.
